2021 holds hope for many people wishing that life will get better.
2020 has not been the best year for everyone. The pandemic forced people into quarantine as everything around us shut down. Despite what we all went through the past year, we have a few things to look forward to in 2021.
A Promising Vaccine
There is no specific end date for this pandemic. People hold out hope that a vaccine will take charge, helping to eliminate COVID-19. The hope is that one of the half a dozen vaccines in various stages of clinical trials will get us on a track to normalcy.
There will be people that refuse to take a vaccine, so the virus may not be eradicated, but most of the world can continue spinning. Millions of people believe that these vaccines in production will at least let people walk into a store without fear of contracting the virus.
2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo
Many Olympic athletes were forced to push back their dreams of a gold medal when the 2020 Summer Olympics were delayed until 2021. Their dreams can come to life next July 2021, and the world will be there to watch them soar. It’s exciting to look forward to something that motivates and brings us together as a country.
Expo 2021 Dubai
Expo 2021 Dubai is slated to come back in October 2021. It lasts around six months, so there’s a lot of excitement ahead. This Expo features over 190 different countries connecting to experience the best in culture.
It brings together the best of geography, technology, and innovation. People come together to share thoughts and ideas that can change the future for the entire globe.
Festivals and Concerts
Big blockbusters set to release in 2020 were pushed back another year, waiting to pack movie theatres once again. Movies like “The Batman” with Robert Pattinson and a star-studded cast will come back to the big screen. Marvel’s newest alien superhero movie called “The Eternals” with an amazing cast will debut next year. “Mission: Impossible 7” hopes to be a big hit with Tom Cruise in the driving seat. We should look forward to popcorn and movie theaters showing of their newest hits soon.
2020 was a tough year with many cancellations and changes. 2021 symbolizes hope for many. Not everything will change at midnight, but the New Year will slowly unravel and hopefully shine on all of us. Take it one day at a time. And let us bring all the lessons we’ve learned in the past year to make 2021 more meaningful for all of us.
